NIC STUDENT & TRAINING AGREEMENT

**Terms of Engagement for Professional Certification**

1. AGREEMENT OVERVIEW

This Agreement governs participation in training programs, courses, certifications, and internships offered by the National Institute of Caregivers (NIC). By enrolling in any NIC training program, the student agrees to be legally bound by these terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY & ENROLMENT

Students must meet defined program entry requirements and provide accurate personal and academic information. NIC reserves the right to verify all submitted data. Complying with NIC rules and professional codes of conduct is a prerequisite for continued enrolment.

3. TRAINING STRUCTURE

NIC training delivery includes:

**Digital Learning**: Online modules and virtual sessions.

**On-site Training**: Physical classes and laboratory practices.

**Clinical Internships**: Supervised placements at accredited facilities.

**Assessments**: Comprehensive theoretical and practical examinations.

NIC reserves the right to modify delivery formats to maintain educational standards.

4. ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION

Certification is subject to meeting attendance requirements, passing all formal assessments, and maintaining ethical conduct. Certificates remain the property of NIC and may be revoked in cases of professional misconduct or misrepresentation.

5. INTERNSHIPS & PLACEMENTS

Internships are educational placements designed for skill acquisition and do not constitute an employer-employee relationship with NIC or the host facility. Students are responsible for their conduct during placements and must follow host institutional policies.

6. FEES & REFUNDS

Training fees are payable as prescribed at the point of enrolment. Unless otherwise stated in a specific program policy, fees are non-refundable. Failure to complete or pass the training does not entitle a student to a refund.

7. STUDENT CONDUCT

Students shall act professionally, respect care recipients and peers, and avoid any conduct that brings NIC into disrepute. Violations, including falsification of records or breach of client confidentiality during internships, may result in immediate expulsion.

8. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the **Federal Republic of Nigeria**.
